Lately I got a few questions per e-mail regarding the Long Live Play “Michael” Campaign by SONY. First off all – I’m not authorized to re-upload behind the scenes content or any related content from the project created by deutsch (Mullen Lowe Group). If you search the internet it is possible to find editing material and or content from the creation process. I deleted the obsolete pages, now everyone gets a nice 404. Sorry it’s not my decision.
The following is literally old, I just updated the publicy available information from the deleted blog / bts entries.
Sony asked players to submit why they are the ultimate PlayStation gamer in 30 words or less – with a picture of themselves holding their PS3 controller.
- 30 words or less (yes we’ll be counting), telling us why you are the ultimate PlayStation gamer.
- Then attach a high-quality picture of you holding your PS3 controller in the environment you love to game in. It could be on your couch, in your man-cave or your desk chair in your dorm room —wherever you spend your time taking down enemy forces, racing dream cars, knocking out home runs and uncovering long-lost treasure.
“Michael” is a two-minute live-action film featuring characters from more than a dozen games that have appeared on PlayStation platforms. It begins with a pair of Second World War soldiers from Call of Duty parachuting through the night into a forest. The duo make their way through the shadows to a dimly lit pub, where they find PlayStation-exclusive heroes including God of War’s Kratos, Uncharted’s Nathan Drake, and LittleBigPlanet’s Sack Boy mingling with personalities from popular multi platform franchises including Portal, Assassin’s Creed, and Metal Gear Solid.
