Nur wenige Minuten nach der Ankündigungen Cataclysm, der nächsten Erweiterung zu World of Warcraft, sind bereits die ersten Phishing-Webseiten auf der Jagd nach den Account Informationen gewesen. Mittlerweile gibt es bereits schon professionell gestaltete Webseiten, es scheint auf dem ersten Blick als würden diese tatsächlich von Blizzard Entertainment bereitgestellt, dem ist aber nicht so.
